LO2: Production technologies

Mixing Console - Used to manage the audio signals from the various mic inputs and other sources. 
Microphone - This piece of equipment is crucial to recording the audio from the presenters and guests of the show. 

Shock Mount - Keeps the micrphone in place and reduces chances of vibrations if the mic or desk gets nudged accidently. 

Boom Arm - Allows the height and direction of the microphone to be adjusted to suit the guest.

Microphone Processor - Allows the user to manage the microphone output and cleans up the signal.

Headphones - To allow those involved in the show to listen to the show whilst also cancelling out external noises/ distractions.

PC - For a variety of tasks for the radio show, such as running the software which allows the show to be broadcasted and run smoothly.

Cartwall - One such example of a piece of software radio stations would use, this alllows the DJ/presenter to quickle play jingles, sound effects, or samples at the click of a button from the multiple pages of isntant audio buttons.
